At SKPC, we understand that mental barriers are often greater than physical ones. We arm each of our athletes with specific mental skills and strategies to enhance their game-day performance and conquer frustrating mental barriers. By teaching SKPC athletes confidence building techniques as well as how to sharpen their focus, lower performance anxiety, establish proper goal setting techniques and maximize their motivation, we prepare them for optimal functioning during athletic competition.
We strongly believe that confidence is a result of particular thinking habits, more so than physical talent, opportunity or previous success. Attitude is a key component to our training philosophy, and we provide our athletes with a positive, high-energy atmosphere that inspires motivation and delivers results. The staff at SKPC are experts in human motivation and we invite each one of our athletes to implement the lessons learned in the weight room to all areas of their life.
