Over the last two seasons I have had some of my players train at SKPC. SKPC has helped those players change not only physically but mentally as well. These players have been able to step on the field with a new found confidence and it shows in their contribution to our team. I feel that the approach that Sean and his staff take to getting athletes prepared for their sport is unique and gets results. We all know we can physically train the body but SKPC also focuses in on the mental side of sports, which is constantly over looked in youth, and high school sports. I know personally how well Sean can help improve athletes and would recommend it to anyone.

My daughter Annie started working with Sean to prepare for the Elite 120 tournament.
She wanted to gain skills and speed as well as be best prepared for the invitational event. Little did we know that she would love it so much and learn so much more then just some lacrosse skills.
She worked on developing her stick skills, her shooting improved and her overall fitness level has benefitted - she also gained confidence along the way. Additionally her dodging moves and her shooting speed and accuracy have also improved. She absolutely has developed confidence and is much more motivated to train.
Sean, you teach more then just lacrosse skills. She would go every day if her schedule allowed
Matthew had a great experience this past Spring for Nanuet High School Varsity Lacrosse.
When the season ended he finished with 27 goals and 6 assist as a freshman. When he first started working out with you, he seemed to struggle with his off hand. But through many reps he has improved and feels confident using his right hand.
Matthew is committed to getting better, attending class 2 times a week.
Your lacrosse program is unique, combining strength and skill. Whether it is doing pushups with chains on or shooting with your off hand from your knees, you and your staff keep it fresh.
One of the biggest improvements I've seen with Matthew this year is how prepared he was for the physical part of the game playing at the Varsity level.
Also improving was his shot accuracy and quickness to release the ball. Matthew, normally a middie played attack this year and I feel with the experience he had working out at SKPC gave him the confidence to play at any position.
Thanks so much Sean.
“Dedication and Desire” - our son had been to several personal trainers and could never make the connection or have that “ah ha” moment until SKPC. It was always a struggle to get him motivated to just attend other gyms or work out centers. Now, thanks to Coach Kelly, our son refuses to miss any work out sessions. Coach Kelly and his staff have made us feel that they have a personal interest in his success and have instilled in him a sense of dedication and the desire to achieve and excel. He now has the tools to be successful on or off the field with a new sense of accomplishment through hard work and perseverance. Thank you SKPC for helping us shape our sons character!
The SKPC lacrosse skills training program is ahead of all other lacrosse training programs because it is the total package. The physical aspects of the game are worked on along with the mental attitude that needs to come along with improvement and growth of the individual as a player and young adult. We see a positive change in Ryan and are so thankful we came to Sean Kelly Performance Center.
We will and have recommend SKPC to parents in the Lacrosse community, we cannot say enough about the positives it could do for their child like it did for ours. Thank you again Sean and
When Canon began at SKPC he wanted to improve his stick and ball handling skills. As a long pole LSM/defender, he does not get to work on that skill set often. Prior to SKPC we saw that he did not want to get the ball and was hesitant to pass. This spring season he was getting the balls, and trying to even score. He has no problem passing accurately and catching. That was a huge change.
Canon went to SKPC twice a week for eight weeks
We as well as coaches have seen several improvements from Canon. His footwork, his strength, his stick skills and confidence all improved. With the weight and conditioning training, Canon had more confidence to face opponents much larger then him.
As a freshman, Canon worked hard to play on his high school varsity squad along side seniors. He was the #2 man on this squad and had a lot of playing time.
Our son came to Sean struggling with his confidence due to a lack of strength and understanding of what it is to be physically strong. He just didn’t believe in himself.
He also struggled with the mental side of playing lacrosse; how to handle making mistakes and rebounding back from those mistakes.
Working with Sean and his team increased his confidence therefore being motivated to put himself in a position to compete.
Keely started training with Sean Kelly at Sean Kelly’s Lacrosse training in 8th grade. She was looking to take her lacrosse game to the next level.
From the start I was very impressed by Sean's vast knowledge of the sport of lacrosse, as well as his knowledge of sports performance training.
Additionally, the SKPC facility is well equipped and has top notch trainers supporting Sean.
On a personal note, Keely committed to train with Sean twice a week. She gained considerable strength and lacrosse technique in her training. She learned new things she had never done before in her many previous years of lacrosse training. This helped boost her confidence in games to play tougher and take more risks. Towards the end of the season, she hit a very difficult 8 meter shot in a game. After the game, when I congratulated her on the shot, she said, "Sean taught me that move."
I would highly recommend Sean's training program to any player who is looking to make a real difference in their game. I know Keely will continue to train with Sean in the years to come.
Our daughter Molly was entering into ninth grade and wanted to raise her game to a higher level in order to compete with the best competition at the High School level. A friend had referred us to Sean Kelly.
Molly started with Sean twice a week. Within a couple of weeks Molly’s mental approach, Lacrosse IQ and skill level have improved. After every session with Sean she takes what she learned and practices it either in the backyard or with a friend. The sessions with Sean are extremely important to her and make every effort to attend every one, disappointed if another commitment get in the way.
Sean has a unique way connecting with athletes. He has certainly made a great connection with Molly!!! Thanks Sean!!
